Everyone wants a facebook page. I want one too but I do not want to spend a lot of money and time to manage it.
On top of that, I want to build something fast but it must be interesting and engaging for fans.
I decide that videos would be the best option because it is fast to shoot and people love video. I love videos and I am sure you do too.
The best network to put a video is YouTube. This is a no brainer choice right here.
It is very easy to setup a YouTube account so just follow YouTube instructions to create one.
Back to facebook
I need to put my video at two places. I need a video greeting for the non-fans (visitors) and I need to update my facebook pages with videos to help attract new fans.
The video greeting
This video must be very short like 1 minute long with 3 components: what, why me , why now
Once I answer those questions, I am ready to shoot. At this point, I will use an iphone because there is an option to send directly to YouTube.
Once my video is on YouTube, I need to put it on my facebook welcome page.
To do so I need a free facebook application called Static FBML.
That application let you put any HTML code. You can put anything at this point but a simple video will do the job.
The Idea is to put the video greeting as the welcome page with this application.
Now anytime someone visits the fan page your one-minute pitch will play.
Let say they do join your fan page, now you need to update regularly.
Remember I do not want to spend a lot of time on it.
I will use the service called posterous.
The service is simple and that is a huge advantage for you.
All you need is a smartphone like an iphone and you are ready to share almost anything from pictures videos or text to you facebook page.
It is dead simple to use but I will use video and picture only.
You may say that the design is not sexy and you are right. Nobody visit fanpages but they interact with them on their news feed.
You do not need a sexy design but you need to update it all the time.

One more thing, do not forget to put a sexy picture as your logo or anything like that.
