The loading time is too slow

youtubeI was wondering if I am the only one to see that. I do have a broadband connection. Even with this powerful tool youtube seems too slow. Since November, the youtube networks seems to suffer during prime time (between 6 pm to 10 pm eastern times)

When you go to youtube directly, the system looks ok, not well but ok. When you access youtube video from another website or blog during prime time, it is slow to load or even to play. Sometime it does not display at all.

At the beginning, I was thinking my website was the problem. I play the same video on other website and the videos were slow too. Then, I tested with my friend computer and the result were the same.

Youtube too popular

Youtube is the number one video sharing services in the internet. I cannot imagine how many videos are upload and play at the same time. I think too much. Now that youtube is international, the loading time at prime time will suffer. I do not think the system will crash…but they must find away to feed those visitor that will increase in 2008.

Youtube alternative

This whole situation pushes me to find new video streaming services. I was with blip. TV but my account has been canceling. You can read my post about blip TV and read the comment of blip.tv CEO.

Right now, I am testing Megavideo, Veoh, and Viddler. Who will be my main video streaming for 2008?

I was wondering if I am the only one who saw this increase of loading time for youtube

Yeah I Noticed that too., like yourself I have Broadband too . They should fix these video speed issues in this day and age it should not be a problem… but I feel alot of hi-tec services they dont deliver the service speeds the claim. I find the likes of youtube overhyped and the quality of the videos is pure rubbish from Mobile/Cell Phones. I have to say the quality of Skype is useless too. The webcam quality is not great at all regardless of the mp. Their too much of a time delay.
