Finally you reach part 4 and complete part 3. Oh wait you did not do part 3 then go do it right now.
This is part 4 and it’s all about creates a simple business plan. This is not your final business plan but your foundation.
Let’s break this simple business plan in 4 parts
1-Why people come to your website the first time
2-Why those people come back to your website
3-Why they will share your website with their friend
4-Long term value
Why do people come to your website
This is an important aspect of your business plan. You need to do several things.
Your product or service must answer a problem. You must leave enough room for people feedback.
Once you set up this you need a teaser. The teaser must have high value because this your first contact with a person.
Example: a free report, free software, free video etc… you decide but keep it simple, keep it authentic and bring a lot of value.
Wait don’t give your precious content like that. Make sure you can contact this person before you give away your content.
Make sure you have his e-mail for example or sms number etc… whatever it is you must be able to contact that person.
Once you have set up this you can go to the next question.
Why do people come back to your website?
This is of course the critical point. You must push those people to come back again. You can do that by giving away free content. You can start a contest. A video chat….
The idea is to give a real reason to come back. More important a real reason to share the experience with friends.
Why do they will share your website with their friend?
This is an important aspect because it can save you money. Marketing and advertising are expensive. Promotion by your user is cheap and 10 times more effective.
You need to give a great reason to share content. Whatever you think you can do. Don’t be scare and just do it.
Example: video tutorials, funny video, games etc….
Long term value
This is the last but most important thing. You must be the real answer to a problem but you must be hard and easy to copy. Simple to use, easy to contact ect…
Example: Google and his simple one page search engine
Craigslist: very easy to use.
