I’m not a huge fan of ads in my twitter streams but I understand why many people use it.
A quick example:
You love this book XYZ. The book XYZ helps you solve a huge problem. You are ready to recommend it to your friends that face the same problem.
No matter what, you are ready to talk about it. You decide to present this book XYZ to your friend. Your friend decides to buy it base on your recommendation.
Now you receive money when your friend buys it or not. Does it matter that you receive money?
At the end of the day you would recommend it anyway.
Mashable recently wrote an article and call this practice evil.

The reaction from this post was huge. The founder of sponsored tweet reacts and exposed mashable pretty badly.

I do understand the position of mashable but mashable does the same thing with paid post and endorsements tweet.
Until they close any advertisement tool on their website or on twitter, they are not in a good position to talk and teach people what to do.
This is totally hypocrite.
On this note I decide to create something special very soon to make money on twitter but with respect for your followers so stay tune.
