I didn’t think that I will write about this today but I receive so many e-mails that make me no choice to clarify my view.
First I want to put my recent comment about uVme:
When I said uVme is a scam I said it because the system just looks like global domains Avon or herbalife. Are they illegal? Not at all but those companies make money out of his associate first and from new associates then. This is my final point of view maybe not because uVme still not functional. Nobody knows if it going to be as good as they said. My goal is not to be an uVme hater but give different point of you. I receive many visitors who happy to see those different point of view. If you are so sure about your point give more argument so everyone will have another good point of view. Trust me you will be surprise how many people are still septic about it. So to any uVme member it’s time to give your argument.
Like I said I don’t want to be a uVme hater but I feel I’m like all those visitors who subscribe to this blog .They need to know the truth.
Does uVme is legal?
Until now yes.
Does uVme is a pyramid scheme? Well there is no money on the system so it cannot be call a pyramid scheme.
Does this social network will work?
They call themselves to be the next my space facebook or youtube all together. The only things those entire website have in commons are the fact they are user friendly and you can custom your page as your wish. UVme doesn’t give this ability right now.
They give instant messaging!! It is good to communicate with the people who already sing up under you only. They have no search engine. That will be more a social network then anything else right if you could search other uVme member?!
Among all the features that will be online the one who surprise me to be online now was the uvme shop. I have nothing against that but it will be cooler to have something else like a real social network basis and be able to interact with others and make all this grows faster.
The question still exists: Does uVme is a scam. I won’t answer this now I will wait uVme official launch to measure correctly this phenomena and tell everyone if you should ban this or not until then you can always jump in.. It is free so nothing to lose from now. By sign up now you will be able to see the new website and make your own decision. Build your team and when the launching day arrive I will be there to tell the world if it is a good thing
Don’t worry I follow this folder closely.
You can always check Tristan’s blog with is recent comment:
I would strongly suggest that anyone who is a) sceptical or b) interested in uVme, check out my blog (http://blog.vwdincome.co.uk) to find details of the next uVme online event. These are approx 1 hour long and the uVme head of marketing, talks through the entire payplan and how people can earn money from uVme.
Go listen, then come back here or to my blog to discuss this further.
The payplan can be quite confusing when read in the “insiders report” (available at http://www.uvmespace.com) as a pdf document, but listen in on the meeting and if your not blow away by the uVme payplan, i’ll be truly amazed!
Once you understand the uVme payplan, you’ll soon see the potential. I believe it is the people who have not studied, digested & understood the uVme “insiders report”, who are calling this a scam…
Comment from Chris Aguilera
Some of you need to read these comments more slowly and examine the evidence, and imagine what could go wrong instead of just hoping for success.
There is nothing at all that is good about this ’scheme’. It is designed to fail and take all your money.
First of all the gaming world is already past the novelty of online gaming. We already play against live humans with dedicated game consoles accross the Internet. Not only is uVme old in concept, it is not even ready to play. Realize please: it does not even work yet! When it does work, it is not new or differnt enough to stand out.
Secondly, the fact that you make pennies in profit from actual game play but you make huge amounts of money from enticing gullible people to join under you SCREAMS illegal pyramid scheme. If you can’t see that one simple fact, then you are blinded by the money promises.
Face it, nobody is going to pay for anything by the minute when the alternatives are dirt cheap. Do the math. Buy 5 great X-box 360 games for $50 each = 250. Now buy the console for $400 and you have spent $650. Over a one year period you spent $54 dollars a month (650/12) and that, my friends, is equivalent to about $1.82 per day.
Why would you play generic unknown games over a crappy slow Internet connection for a dollar or two per HOUR, when you could play all day, every day, on a formidable and state of the art killer console for less than $2 PER DAY!
Swap the games with friends when you get tired of them (now that’s good social networking!) and your cost will never go up.
uVme is just not going to fly, it is not designed for gamers, it is old technology and very expensive and why are we even thinking about this trash? Plus, it’s a illegal pyramid.
Happy gaming.

thegameBiz makes a great comment here maybe it is all about the target audiance…. more info to come when uvme will really start….
A very interesting read.
My comment to Chris as to whether people will pay to play online games of skill is yes they will and they do already. Take a look at the statistics from WorldWinner.com. Their members play 650,000 games a day (which is almost 8 games per second) and they spend an average of $1.65 per play.
uVme not designed for the student “gamer” market so there’s no point making comparisons with Xbox etc but for the affluent middle aged plus market who have time and money at home to play a few puzzle challenges, sports game, board games etc. with an average game time of around 3 minutes. And of course, whilst the entry fee may be (say) $1.65 per play, that is not the cost of playing, because if you are of average ability you will win 50% of your games which will mean you will win cash too – so your average loss would be the game rake fee (25% on King.com and others). i.e. the “Payout” averages 75% with a 25% rake.
I do believe uVme have a USP (Unique Selling Point) – take a closer look at the 28 page insiders report, especially at the screenshot images – you will see things on those images that make uVme different from King.com, pogo.com and worldwinner.com and in my opinion could give it the edge over these other game sites.
I do hope uVme launch the games sooner rather than later as this will answer a lot of the questions of the doubters. That said and as has been said here – there’s absolutely NO cost to pre-register and build a social/business network and make your decision at launch based on what your network does.
Also, when making your decision soley on cost of investment – a lot of people forget that profit is the thing to look for and profit is sales-cost of sales. Profit is the key, not the cost. I would prefer to make $1,000 a day with a cost of $200 a day than to make $700 a day with a “freebie”.
Here’s my link (yes, you’ve guessed it – I’m an associate) http://www.TheGameBiz.com.
BlackSky, whilst I do share some of Chris’s views. I have to point out that the company behind uVme does have a solid history. I disagree with him that the technology they are implementing is old – it is the combination of IM, online games and Social Marketing that makes uVme just a little different… yes, only a ‘little’. The additional difference here is that players are competing against others in tournaments across the world – for prize money. That’s not something that his $650 x-box offers! Yes, there is a dramatic ‘rake’, the originators of the idea take the greatest cut and – at present – the focus is on building a team of associates to ‘sell’ the games rather than on the games themselves. That latter point is the element that worries me. I would dearly love to see and use some of these games so uVme associates (yes, you guessed it, I am one too) can better describe them to potential players. Until that happens the jury is still out. However, I felt I could not miss a chance here… imagine Google inviting associates to take a piece of their pie BEFORE they went global. Is uVme the next SecondLife/FaceBook/Skype/Microsoft…? I don’t know. But it’s worth a shot – and it’s free to pre-register. The sensible thing to do, is for anyone who is still unsure to take a few moments to see what is really on offer. Oh, and just for completeness (and with apologies to BlackSky
) here’s my associate link: http://www.win2win.org
