promote your blog You were waiting for this list. What will I use this year to promote my blog? My goal this year is to increase my traffic. I want quality and huge traffic flow.

Digg is bad and dead for 2008

I will not use digg this year. I do not think digg is a bad service but they made so many changes. Digg is not as fun as it use to be. Many digg like appears and can be a great way to bring quality traffic.

One of this digg like that I use is bloggingzoom. A digg like for blogger by blogger. A unique place where you can promote your content without being bury by anyone. A must see.

Another great digg like is sphinn. The traffic is bigger then bloggingzoom. The good think about sphinn is about the content. Digg is great but most of the top posts are weird choice like picture or strange video.

Stumble upon is traffic steroid.

I will not drop this one. Nobody love steroids but stumble upon is a legal one. If you know how to use it, you can really bring traffic to your post very fast.

Feedburner is a great tool.

If you have a blog, feed burner is the tool you should have. If you have Wordpress, feedburner plug-in is a tool you should install. When I installed the plug-in, I was able to track all my readers. The best reason to have feedburner is the post send by mail function. I will focus more on that this year. We all know that e-mail is the most important thing online. This is why yahoo is number one on traffic flow.

The power of the video.

Great news! Google will add more and more video to his search engine. It is the time to take advantage of that. I will bring back BlackySky TV. First, I will have to choose my video platform. Right now veoh seems to be the big winner. More post about my video platform choice to come.

I will stop commenting.

I will continue to comment but I will comment on blog if I can really bring something new and original. I will focus on small blog and let the big one alone. It is time to build a strong network.
