Ipod touch buy or not buy?

Wow wow… I have to start like this. I don’t know what to say I have my ipod video and now I’m looking to apple new baby Ipod touch.

Let resume some characteristics: a touch screen like the iphone and the wi fi to go on Internet with the safari browser. That only could make my day.

What I didn’t like about the ipod video was the fact that you have a shiny glossy gadget but you must cover it to avoid scratches. Ipod touch no way to cover it … show off with it. That’s a great improvement.

Apple also changes their strategies. No more huge hard drive capacity. Flash memory. The biggest advantage is fewer bugs due to the hard drive shock and a better battery life.

Talking about strategies the ipod video is the ipod classic and still exist the ipod nano too.

The ipod nano can read video now. However my question is why those two still exist if you have an ipod touch next to it….. Yes Ipod video (classic) and nano improve but still… you don’t have that touch and wi fi features… I don’t know about those strategies….

Finally do we buy the ipod touch now?

If you read all this it sounds like yes but… I have to compare the ipod touch with the iphone.

The iphone is now $399 for 8GB and ipod touch is $299 for 8GB or 399$ for 16GB. For $100 more you have a phone and internet everywhere. Look like the iphone is the best deal but it is stick to AT&T… maybe not a great deal….

Personally I will wait a little bit after charismas to see if the iphone will be available to another phone carrier and sooner or later I will make the move.

Apple makes it once again… They simply beat the competition.
