Google boycott john chow?
Last day, I was too lazy to type john chow dot com so I wrote john chow on Google search because I was already on Google page. Then I click the first result without notice and then find out that I was on john cow dot com.
I was pretty surprise about this result. No john chow dot com was list on Google search well I stop searching after page 10 ….
Everyone loves money and would like to earn more, especially online.
What happen?
I have to come back a little time before when john chow blog was another blog in this huge ocean. He was giving great tips about how to make money online nothing more nothing less. In a really short time his statistic increase. It was a real blow. The number of link back was increasing so fast and john chow was becoming the number website every time you type make money online or something close.
The big question every one was asking is how all this happen?
Google simply said that they have too much guessing about many link pointed to john chow website. Look like he used suspicious link back tactics and doing that his against Google policy.
Does Google boycott him? look like yes. I did a research with Google and the fist result was john cow
I do the same research with yahoo: and msn. Both still list john chow.
Look like Google is the only one to boycott him.
He reached the top and drives more visitors to his website and finally earns more money.
These tactics bring him fame and authority in the blogsphere.
Learn from john chow mistake
Everyone loves money and would like to earn more, especially online.
Many want to be rich and famous quickly. Everything took time and using suspicious tactics too fools search engine won’t help you. Rewind on this, it will help you on a short time but you have to think long-term and build step by step. Best example is problogger who give tips just like john chow but didn’t use strange tactics. So think about it: long-term is always the best from youtube google to dig or myspace… a good website always earn more on a long-term period. Google is watching you.
John chow dot com will die?
This is a good question, personally I don’t thing so, well not in a short mid term. You have to look john chow statistic over 200 000 unique visitor per month and 300 000 page views. He have 7 000 readers. All those number give him a good fan club to stay online a short and mid-term.
How about the long-term?
This is hard to tell because many website like john cow dot com are in fight with chow. Others start talking about boycotting. Personally I do think his long-term will be harder. He recently starts to manage his ad space by himself and quit Adsense. ( a direct answer to Google boycott?)
Anyway , by myself I won’t boycott him because I still love reading some of his article but I will never buy any ads out there why ? Personal choice.
End of the story: what goes around comes around….be honest and success will come.
