Tweetglide is a solid and great product but definitely not good for marketing and advertising. There is better alternative right now like tweetdeck and seesmic web.
An old idea on a new format
I swear, I was very happy to download and test tweetglide until I start use it. The main reason I download tweetglide was for his free marketing solution. The idea to advertise for free on twitter was wonderful.
Let me tell you, this is where the dream stops. After 1 hour I realise that tweetglide is an old idea put on a new format.
Do you remember those banner exchange programs, traffic exchange programs or even those safe list programs? Do you remember those old systems from the past?
Guess what? Tweetglide is just a new format from those old systems.
What’s make it so bad?
Tweetglide problems
Those systems attract advertisers only and that’s a huge problem.
Most of them will always focus to advertise. A very few will be there for fun. Therefore this tool becomes a great tool for business that helps advertisers only.
The idea was tested before with those old systems now tweetglide simply change the format for twitter.
View ads non stop on tweetglide
I found a huge problem in tweetglide.
Why would I use a program that show ads all the time when you can have the same product without this restriction.
Seriously would you choose the channel that interrupt the movie every 10 minutes with ads or the one that never interrupt the movie? Both of them are free. The answer is pretty easy.
Tweetglide is a solid and great product but definitely not good for marketing and advertising. This ads column is annoying.
Tweetglide advertising services alternative
If you really want to advertise on twitter, you should choose an AD agency like Ad.ly
