Foresee is the key
You can do anything you want like add to many social networks or any traffic generator but if you don’t have the hook all this are useless.
The hook is simple you need a subject that someone will say mmm interesting.
The best way too have this hook is by having a scoop or a unique item.
We all know if you have the scoop everyone will stare at you.
For example if you have the last video tape of Osama Ben Laden and that video only play on your blog. Guess what, you are the next most view website even more then Google. All this sounds logical. Now if you only copy paste the last video from CNN for example. You will be the second choice and you won’t get that much traffic because most of the people will go on those major news networks. Until there it’s sounds natural and logical.
Where you get the scoop?
There is two way to get the scoop
- You are lucky and a source tells you something big will happen or you are witness of the news.
- The second way is touchier but it is the most effective way to get noticed. I give you an example. Let’s say Christmas. Brain storm about these two months before the event. Now add ipod touch or any gadget then add rush….I foresee a subject that will be search in two months. By doing that I can start building around that for example what to buy or not for Christmas 2007. How to not be stress when shopping during holydays. What’s hot to cook? etc… I can already plan a series of articles about my future event Christmas and start making it before everyone talk about it. There one thing you know is that everyone will talk about Christmas during Christmas and every networks too. So everyone will search about it too. Make it first and interesting. That was example you can bring more idea with your imagination.
The main Idea
The first way to get a scoop is the luckiest one if you have it use it as much as possible. The second is all about foresee the event before the event happen that way you are sure to be among the first to talk about it. If you are at the top, it means more traffic and more traffic means you reach your goals.
Say it like that it looks easy but you really need to think about it and dress your subject to make it as much attractive as possible. Remember foresee it before everyone and you will looks and sounds the smartest one.
