Googlebot crawl your blog or website faster

Month ago I wrote the post Google last access. This post was a tool to let you know when googlebot last visit on your website was. I quickly receive a lot of comment about why googlebot did not “crawl” your website or How to get googlebot on your website faster.

Step to get googlebot visit you more and faster.

Make sure to add manually your website to Google search engine.

Once you did that, make sure to sign up to web webmaster tools

Add the robot txt. This is very important. You can find it in the tool section.

Once you add this robot txt, make sure Google check it ok.

Your next step is to add a sitemap to your website. You can do so right here

Again, make sure Google check your sitemap ok

Your final step is to speed up Google website crawling. You can do so by going to the tool section tab and then click the set speed crawling.

Put it at the maximum. Put it a lower speed when your loading page is affected or your bandwidth consume too fast.

At this speed, Google will come more often and will bring more information faster.

Enjoy this step by step.
