Tsk Tsk Drake. I’m dissappointed . I thought you would be a genuine kind of guy. But I guess you’re just another music artist high on cash.You played Friday in Saskatoon at our Credit Union Centre. Doors opened at 7:30. My friend and I were so pumped to see you live, we both bought pink t-shirts.
You put on an amazing show. You brought a girl on stage, you talked to the audience, you walked down into the audience, you spotted out women and described what they were wearing so you could get their attention to say hi. You put on an amazing show, you did your thing.
Afterwards my friend and I didn’t want to leave our chair because we didn’t want to moment to end.. we were so sad it ended because we loved your show and we loved you.
We both went outside eventually and stood by your buses chatting with the security guards. There were a few others waiting for hope as well. Everything went downhill for us from here. One of your body guards did a count on us to see who was out, we were assuming a count to decide whether or not you would come out or not. You never did. You had a busy night of backstage pass guests, I get that.
After your bus left my friend and I got in our vehicle, and I believe 2 other vehicles full of people began following you.
We followed your red bus back to Original Joes. We parked our cars, we stood close to your bus. You got out of your bus and walked right by us. All of us. There was probably a crowd of 8 tops. We were probably 10-15 ft away. Just hoping to even get a smile, or a wave. I get that you would be hungry and want to sit down, relax and have a drink. But not even a hello?
It upset us all. I’m 19, my buddy is 21. We both bought t-shirts. Mine is still sitting on the counter in the kitchen from when I got home. I don’t know what to do with it. You put on a good show as your job, but in reality… You didn’t even have the decency to wave as you walk by or say a hello. Changed my whole perspective on you. I watched your show Degrassi. I have your CD. And I now have a pink band t-shirt. And I sadly now have a new perspective on you which I never hoped would happen.

Broke my heart Drake, I was looking for a genuine artist to be proud of.
