I did what I should do a long time ago. I quit adsense.
Forever maybe yes.
Before I tell you why, let’s break down the adsense myth.
- Yes you can make money with adsense (a lot of it)
- Yes they do pay on time.
Now why I quit Adsense
1. collect your passion interest to send you more targeted advertising
It may sound like a great idea for the publisher and the advertiser but what about the internet user. They collect everything you do, learn your behavior and then be able to send you whatever you “need”. Of course, you can opt out but the fact is there. On top of that, I need to update my privacy policy about a technology that I do not know. In other word, I am not a Google slave.
2. You have no control over ads that are on you website.
Yes, Google do have an option to add website you don’t want but at the end of the day you can track all of them. You cannot track the one in another language if someone decides to translate your website.
3. No quality ads
This is a huge problem. Google accept almost anyone with money to spend. They do have a quality ads system but I saw very crap ads with a nice layout. It is still a crap ads even with a nice layout.
4. Google is not your partner because they do not tell you all
This is something I have never understood. Why Google never disclose how much money we get on profit. If I start a business or collaborate with someone in a project, I know from the beginning that I will receive on profit. With Google, you have no idea. Monday you can receive 1% and Tuesday 20% . (Numbers are not accurate). It is crazy because of that I saw many people leaving Google.
Many advertising Agency Company are better than Google.
By the way, you can still enjoy Google adsense; this was my reason to leave them….

from who you receive the money?
im kind of new with this topic and would like to know more…

the goal of the is post was not to show an alternative
but only to say why I quit adsense… I’m working and testing better alternative for adsense. Stay tune because it is something you won’t find anywhere else. It is brand new and coming soon
