uVme is a scam? update
Last night I saw that each time someone tap uVme, he have more chance to come to my blog. So let start and make useful.
uVme was evo before and changed to uVme. Why Evo? Evo was the first phase of the pre launch and uVme it’s the second phase.
It is a social network where people will pay to play and you can join as a promoter and make money out of it.
Is it a scam?
Maybe yes. It is a MLM that means you need people in your down lines to make more money. It is legal if you (as a promoter you don’t have to pay and recruit to start your business) right now it’s free to join so it’s legal ( at the real launch all this may change, sounds not good at all)
What about the making money part?
Right now nothing was really clear but day after day the website uVme is building.
They drop that information
Read it (a most read) (this is a zip files with a power point presentation)
Watch it (movie from uVme website)
Why I join?
I know all this look too good to be true but I said to myself that I have nothing to lose so if it‘s a scam I will lose nothing and if it’s true I will only be a winner. (One things for sure I will never spend one penny to start any business with them. It is most be free at all time for promoter or it is a official scam or the next Avon strategies….
Look like we will have to wait until September for the official launch until now watch out .. it must be a scam until proven not….

Uvme is definitely a scam. I read their “insiders report” and they said that to maintain your “website” you will have to pay 200 pounds a year (thats over 350 US dollars) including 65 pounds every 28 days. That’s quadruple what it would cost to host your own gaming website! You also have to scout people and ask them to go to your game site and pay money to play games.

I think only time will tell whether uVme is a scam, however the information they have released has left the waters slightly cloudy.
In answer to the comment above, its a one-off payment of £200 if coming from the UK, $200 from US and rest of the world & 200 Euros from Europe. You don’t have to pay this every year.
Its Free whilst the business in the pre-launch stage and when it goes live later this year as promoter or associate you will be required to pay £$200 (Euros).
If you become an associate you will be required to pay £$65 (Euros) every pay cycle (28 days)
Recouping you investment: Every new associate that you introduce to the uVme will net you £$100 (Euros) if they become active. To become active they need to introduce just 2 players in the their first 28 days.
You can recoup your investment by recruiting just 2 active associates, plus if you manage to recruit a total of 3 active associates will move you up the marketing plan and unlock the Power Pool Revenue share.
The Power Pool Revenue share will basically cover your £$65 (Euros) payment required for your licence.
So in a nutshell, just 3 active associates will recover all costs and put you in a position of no running costs each pay cycle. Unless you spend fortunes on marketing this business, going forward from this point, you can only make a profit, however small.

In a world where corporate directors seem to be the only ones who make the money (entertainment & sport stars excluded). Perhaps this is greatest pyramid scam of all and yet they can get away with driving employees harder and harder for less and less because of the competition we face (according to them). However over the last ten to twenty years their income has risen by in excess of 70% while the average worker has made do with about 10%. Oh and of course most directors have a fortune in their pension plan. The workers have been shoved into money purchase i.e. they now take all the risk in the stock market.
Ever since I started work (long time ago now) every employer I was ever with gave the same story. “If we don’t work harder and for less money the competition will take our jobs”. I was suckered into this scam at the time but when you hear the same argument 25 years later you question your sanity or the bullshit you have been fed.
When I was turfed out of my last job after 16 years service and obtaining qualifications relevant to my work, I was awarded just 4 months pay. My initial reaction was to kick the shit out of one particular manager visiting from the London Office who had every sympathy for my situation. However my resolve was to find a way to make a living that I was in control of.
I focused on the things I enjoyed and looked for business opportunities that had a fit with my interests. It was at this stage I came across Network Marketing or MLM. My initial reaction was that of probably everyone’s (another scam to take my hard earned), but I did my homework and to my surprise found it made sense. I also discovered some very high profile entpreneaurs endorsed the concept including Robert Kiyosaki & Donald Trump.
This leads to UvMe I have researched the company Virtual World direct who promote UvMe. What I have found is it is an exceptionally well run company with a superb management team.
The directors will make millions of this I have no doubt. However because they have chosen to distribute their product via network marketing they will only make this money when the company earnings are driven from the bottom up giving everyone in between a share of this pot of money. If this is a scam it is far fairer than one I spent 25 years in!!

Maybe it would be better to reserve judgement for when uVme actually launches. You will then be able to form a sensible opinion. Remember, 21 January 2008 is the launch date.

Gavin you are totally right. We have to wait until the launch time. I wrote those posts because of the amount of e-mail I receive. I hope I bring all the view to speak out. We all have to wait the launch time on 21 and witness the evolution.
UVme review part 3 is coming on December 13th on this blog. A more update and complete review with a brand new uVme help team. So stay tune.

You can run an arcade site pretty cheap, now getting people visiting a bunch of sites all with the same games you have to pay for seems odd.

I do not know but the official launch is at the end of January. You can see the preview of the game on my post uVme review part 3… Moreover, you tell me if you will pay for that after you saw the preview.
Personally, I will not spend a penny on that

So basically it’s £200 to join and £65 a month to become what is really, err…. an affiliate!
Only someone with the brains of a rocking horse would join.
